Conserving Wildlife & Promoting a Future of Environmental Stewardship

Christine’s Critters Inc, est. 2015, is a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation of birds of prey. Our mission is to provide care and rehabilitation to injured raptors with the goal of returning them to the wild whenever possible.

Those that cannot survive on their own remain with us as permanent ambassadors, helping to educate the public about the challenges wildlife face and the important role raptors play in maintaining healthy ecosystems. We currently care for 23 non-releasable birds of prey, including hawks, owls, falcons, eagles, and osprey, each with a unique story of survival.

Through our educational programs and community outreach, we aim to raise awareness of human-caused threats to wildlife—such as habitat loss, secondary poisoning, and vehicle collisions—and to inspire people of all ages to become stewards of the natural world.

At Christine’s Critters, we’re committed not only to protecting wildlife today, but also to inspiring and empowering the next generation of conservationists, veterinarians, and scientists who will safeguard our natural world for the future.

Our impact extends far beyond our facility. Each year, we rescue and rehabilitate over 100 injured raptors, including hawks, falcons, owls, eagles, and ospreys, with the ultimate goal of returning them to the wild. For those that cannot be released, we provide lifelong care in spacious, species-appropriate aviaries, ensuring they live enriched and fulfilling lives where they serve as ambassadors for their species, helping to educate the public about conservation and the challenges raptors face in the wild.
