About Us

Christine’s Critters, Inc. was born from my passion for birds of prey, and my desire to try to help offset some of the effects that mankind has created that harm our native wildlife.   I have always had a passion for animals, but once I became a falconer and started hunting with my red tailed hawk, Theron, when I was 16, I knew that I wanted to spend my life teaching about these amazing creatures.

Christine’s Critters, Inc. is a non profit 501(c)(3) that I created in 2015 whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and release as many injured birds of prey as we are able to handle. We really totally on donations and program fees to care for our 22 permanent resident birds of prey, 30 reptiles, and the 100 or more birds that are admitted into rehab each year.

My hope is that through our educational outreach programs we are able to help prevent some of the common injuries to these raptors that are indeed caused by mankind.  If we can change just a few of our behaviors, the wild will be a much safer place for these amazing birds.  We hope that you will join us in our mission!
